Why Mom's Hurt video
This is a video by 2 Trident Technical students Molly shultz and Tara Lowry. The project was for a class assignment relating to post partum depression. The title of the project is Why Mom's Hurt.
The purpose of this blog is to educate those in the medical field, family and friends, social workers, and mothers about postpartum depression, psychosis and "Baby Blues". We encourage others to tell their story in efforts to let people know that they are not alone and there is help available. In addition, we enourge everyone to discuss their experience with mothers who experience these symptoms so caregivers and friends can help the others in their lives. Each experience is different for everyone but their are little things everyone can do to help moms recover from this. We encourage you to give a new mom suffering a break, a small rest and an ear.
Thank you for posting this, it helps a lot for all those mothers who are unsure of what they are feeling.
